Michael Johnson

- Principal

Mr. Johnson, who founded Lake Creek Industrial in September 2018, has over 20 years of commercial real estate acquisition and development experience. During his career he has led more than 80 transactions in the acquisition or development of over 17.6 million SF and over 765 acres of industrial properties, respectively. Prior to founding LCI, Mr. Johnson directed the industrial acquisitions and development efforts in Southern California for LBA Realty and DCT Industrial Trust prior to its acquisition by Prologis.

Mr. Johnson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting.

Bob Kubichek

- Senior Vice President

Mr. Kubichek has more than 22 years of construction and development experience. He is responsible for all of LCI's pre and post-entitlement development activities as well as all vertical project management. Immediately prior to joining LCI, Mr. Kubichek served as Director of Development and Construction for LBA Realty. Between his experience at LBA Realty and LCI, Bob has led the development and construction of 17 industrial warehouse properties totaling more than 3.5 million SF, six industrial outdoor storage sites, as well as nine rehab projects of office and industrial properties.

Mr. Kubichek graduated from the University of California - Berkeley with a B.A.

Jake Swan

- Vice President

Mr. Swan spearheads the Company’s acquisition efforts, including sourcing opportunities, underwriting, and asset management. He has more than 14 years of commercial real estate experience specializing in acquisitions and asset management. Prior to joining LCI in July 2021, Mr. Swan spent 12 years at LBA Realty, the last three of which he led LBA Realty's industrial acquisition efforts in Southern California.

Mr. Swan graduated Cum Laude from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Business Administration concentrating in Accounting and Finance.

Mike Tonkonogy

- Manager

Mr. Tonkonogy is responsible for LCI’s due diligence, risk management, and contract coordination functions. Prior to joining LCI in January 2022, he spent the prior five years at Seyfarth Shaw LLP assisting institutional commercial real estate clients in a similar role.

Mr. Tonkonogy graduated from the University of California – Berkeley with a B.A.

Katherine Palacios

- Controller

Mrs. Palacios is responsible for LCI's corporate planning, investor reporting, and human resources. She has over 20 years of corporate finance experience managing multi-billion-dollar budgets. Prior to joining LCI, she held various leadership roles at Royal Caribbean Group, Carnival Cruise Lines and Coca Cola, where she oversaw the financial planning, reporting and analysis of various departments including human resources, operations, corporate planning (FP&A), marketing and revenue management.

Mrs. Palacios graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duke University and received her MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Jennifer Awad

- Associate

Mrs. Awad is responsible for LCI's accounts payable, vendor and file management, and general administration functions. She joined LCI in August 2021.

Mrs. Awad graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Business Administration; and received her Master's Degree in Education from Pepperdine University.
